Former New Orleans Saints All-Pro right tackle Ryan Ramsick has announced his retirement from the NFL after an eight-season career, NFL Network reports. superheng1688
“It’s been an incredible journey,” Ramsik wrote on Instagram. “My road to the NFL wasn’t a straight line. It’s not the story most people expected. There were times when people doubted me, times when I doubted myself. Life is funny how sometimes the roads you take can lead you to places you never expected.”
‘But it ended up being where you were supposed to be. Today, I’m going to reflect on the journey that got me here, from college to the NFL to being an NFL All-Pro. As I retire, I’m grateful for everything this sport has given me.’
Ramsik has not played since December 10, 2023, with a knee injury that derailed his career and forced him to end his career prematurely.
The Saints drafted Ramsik in the first round of the 2017 class, and he was named All-Pro for the first time and only time in 2019. He started all 101 games for the Saints in his career. “I look forward to the next chapter of my life and am forever grateful,” he wrote in a post. ( superheng1688 )
