superwin636 Bruce Arians, 69, has stepped into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ management role, handing over the head coach position to defensive coordinator Todd Bowles superwin636.

Bruce Arians has confirmed he is stepping down as head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to take on an executive role, pushing defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to become the Pirates’ new head coach, NFL Network reported Wednesday.  ( superwin636 )

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Buccaneers are set to offer Bowles a five-year contract, who has been the Pirates’ defensive coordinator since 2019 and was instrumental in their Super Bowl win in 2020. The 58-year-old also had experience as head coach with the New York Jets from 2015-18.

Arians will become a senior football advisor within the organization after serving as head coach in 2019, where he went 31-18 and led the team to one NFC South title and one Super Bowl.
