Ordoñez moved from Independiente in his home league to Club Brugge in 2022 and has developed into a first-team regular this year, making 19 appearances in all competitions.

With his excellent form, the English media reported that the Reds and Blues are ready to start a battle outside the field to get Ordonez, with both teams likely to start a competition this winter as reports indicate that the player is ready to move teams.
