pgzen Nottingham Forest have been impressed by the performances of striker Chris Wood in the new season and are set to meet with his agent to discuss extending his current deal. pgzen

The Telegraph Football reported that the 32-year-old New Zealand international is still a slick kicker, having just scored two goals in the last match when the Foresters beat Leicester 3-1, bringing his total in the Premier League this season to seven.  ( pgzen )

Just three behind Man City’s top scorer Erling Haaland, who has scored 11 goals. 

This outstanding form has made many teams want Wood to join their team because his current contract is about to expire in June 2025. Therefore, there has been underground testing with a good salary from other clubs both in Thailand and abroad. 

Of course, Forest knew about this and didn’t want to lose Wood as a free agent, so they met with his agent to discuss and offered him a salary increase along with a new 2- year contract + 1 -year team option for consideration.
