TBR Football reported on Wednesday that three clubs, Brighton, Brentford and Wolverhampton, are all interested in bringing Bayern Munich defender Eric Dier, 30, back to the Premier League this summer. 

Bayern Munich signed Dyer from Tottenham Hotspur in January on a six-month loan deal with the option of a further year, but the 30-year-old has struggled for game time under Vincent Kompany this season with his contract set to expire at the end of the season. 

Bayern Munich are reportedly unlikely to offer Dyer a new contract, meaning he could leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2025, with Brighton, Brentford and Wolves all linked with a move for the 30-year-old. 

Kompany has now opted to use Kim Min-jae at centre-back alongside Dayot Upamecano, with Japan international Hiroki Ito set to return to fitness as another option, while Dyer has only made one start. 

Bayern Munich are also planning to sign at least one more centre-back in the summer of 2025, with Germany international Jonathan Tah a top target after the 28-year-old’s contract with Leverkusen expires, with Barcelona’s Ronald Araujo and Benfica’s Antonio Silva also linked.( sakidbet )
