Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has revealed he is working hard to address the issue that has caused him to miss more field goals this season, NFL Network reports. 

Tucker has missed three field goals in three weeks, including both from 50 yards or more, casting doubt on one of the most reliable kickers of the decade.  ( wilson88 ) 

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh previously stressed that he has the same confidence in Tucker and believes the 34-year-old can work on his technical skills and get back to his best.

“It’s certainly fair to say that I’ve been working on my technique lately,” Tucker said, adding that he felt he was as good as he ever was at the ball.

Tucker’s missed field goals are so rare that even he couldn’t believe it when his 46-yarder on Sunday missed the post and was overshadowed by Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubry who successfully kicked a 65-yard field goal. 

However, Tucker is focused on resolving the issue as soon as possible before heading into Sunday’s Week 4 game against the Buffalo Bills. 

“For the most part, we, and I emphasize that, kick the ball really well, not just in practice, not just in warm-ups before games, but for the most part, throughout the game,” Tucker added.

‘Then I let the ball go three times earlier this season, but today we had another good training day. We plan to train again on Thursday and Friday and then come back on Sunday night to prepare like we always do.’

‘I’m confident in what (snapper) Nick (Moore) is doing and what (punter) Jordan (Stout) is doing, both in terms of snapping and holding the ball. All of our blockers, they’re all doing a consistent job. Every time our defense gets a stop, our offense moves the ball down the field.’

‘It’s my job to reward my teammates and their hard work by putting points on the board. It’s something I’m very proud of. I’ll keep working on this. That’s all for now.’
