The 23-year-old midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but is now waiting for the Red Devils to finalise a deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Ugarte’s transfer window has been boosted after PSG announced the signing of Neves on Monday. 

However, L’Equipe argues that the steps are still far from being completed, particularly with the Red Devils needing to reach an agreement with PSG and find a way to offload at least one midfielder.

In the past, Casemiro and Scott McTominay were players who were linked with a move away from Old Trafford, but there is no clarity yet.

PSG are not closing the door on talks to loan Ugarte out, with the Uruguayan midfielder ready to join the Red Devils in any form, but they are waiting for the English club to sort out their internal affairs first. ( sunlit1688 )
