The Sun, an English media outlet, reported that Aston Villa are looking for a new goalkeeper to strengthen their team during the summer transfer market after Martinez is likely to move out of Villa Park after the end of the 2024-25 season.

Aston Villa have reportedly emerged as another club to show interest in Kelleher, however Unai Emery’s side will face competition from Chelsea and West Ham United for the player.

Kelleher is expected to cost as much as £30million, although the Republic of Ireland goalkeeper is only Liverpool’s second choice behind Alisson Becker.

Martinez was pictured in tears after Aston Villa’s 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur, his final game at Villa Park this season.
