Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb reports that Casade has emerged as a player of interest to Villarreal and is likely to make a loan offer to Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Casade is a late option in midfield for new Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca, having yet to make a Premier League appearance this season, starting just two games in the Carabao Cup, in a 5-0 win over Barrow, and starting in a 4-2 win over Gent in the UEFA Conference League.

Villarreal, currently managed by Marcelino Garcia Toral, are in 4th place in La Liga, having won 5 of their first 10 games, and are likely to receive financial support to strengthen their squad in the middle of the season, with the aim of qualifying for the Champions League. ( pgzen )
