The LA Rams surprised the Rams by releasing Darrell Henderson Jr. on Tuesday, despite the 25-year-old running back playing a key role in the ground game this season, NFL Network reports. ( vox888 )

Henderson, a third-round draft pick in the 2019 draft class, has played a key role in the Rams’ ground offense, rushing 70 times for 283 yards and three touchdowns this season. But his stats pale in comparison to the league’s best running backs, and that’s in line with the Rams’ current standing, which is 31st in the league in yards allowed per game at just 76.1.
