Player1688  New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson has tried to tell himself that the current injury crisis is not a burden for him and teammate Brandon Ingram to carry the team, despite criticism that the two Tigers are not good in the same cave.Player1688 

The Pelicans were recently defeated at home by the Atlanta Hawks 111-126, with Zion out due to a hamstring injury. 

Ingram carried the team by himself with 32 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and one block. 

Key player problems have plagued New Orleans early on, with De’Yonte Murray, Trey Murphy III, CJ McCollum and Herb Jones all out with injuries. 

Williamson, meanwhile, is trying to stay positive, as if he had played, the outcome would have been different. 

“People keep saying that the two of us can’t play together,” he told New Orleans Louisiana Dot Com.

“That guy and I just wanted to have some fun, to prove that something is possible.” 

“It’s the whole point of playing basketball.”
