Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung reported on Monday that Wolfsburg have shown interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Salih Ozcan, with the Black and Yellows looking to offload the 26-year-old midfielder this summer. 

Ozcan has become surplus to requirements at Dortmund following the signing of Pascal Gross from Brighton and the club are looking to offload the 26-year-old midfielder before the summer window closes, despite previous interest from Hannover, but a move is unlikely to materialise as the player has no interest in dropping down to Bundesliga 2.

However, the Yellow and Black teams still have a chance to let Ozkan leave the club after Wolfsburg is interested in signing the 26-year-old midfielder. The negotiations with the player have progressed positively, while the talks between the two clubs are also going well.

Ozcan joined Borussia Dortmund from FC Koln in the summer of 2022 for a fee of €5 million. He has made 70 appearances for the Black and Yellows, providing two assists but no goals.  ( hotfuns )
