pgzen Man Utd defender Leni Yoro is eager to make his debut after being signed in the summer but has yet to step foot on the pitch. pgzen

The 18-year-old was bought from Ligue 1 side Lille for £52.2m when Erik ten Hag was still manager but suffered a foot injury in pre-season. 

After disappearing for more than 3 months, the French star has finally returned to outdoor training under caretaker manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. 

Yoro’s next goal is to debut under full-time head coach Ruben Amorim because if you ask me now, I’m really eager and excited to play. 

“Every time I go to watch a game in the stadium, I feel like throwing my shoes on the pitch,” he told MU TV.

“Now it’s on, I want to go out there with my lads and fight for Manchester United.” 

At the earliest, Yoro is likely to be named in the league game against Ipswich (27 Nov), or he could wait until the Europa League game against Bodo Glimt (28 Nov).( pgzen )
