According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Waller and Perryman are in talks over a new deal with the Raiders, and it should be done before training camp later this month.
Waller, 29, signed a four-year, $29.8 million contract in 2019. He has developed into the second-best wide receiver behind only the Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce.
The Raiders just traded Devontae Adams from the Green Bay Packers, handed the 28-year-old wide receiver a big-money contract and worked out a new deal with wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, before Waller’s turn to receive the next big payday after the 29-year-old recently hired Demaryius Bilbo of Klutch Sports as his new agent.
While Perryman impressed in his first season with the Raiders after signing a two-year deal with the Pirates, he earned his first Pro Bowl appearance after making a career-high 154 tackles, and the 29-year-old linebacker is set to receive a new deal in exchange.
