The Japanese entertainment industry was abuzz when Kami Anna, a former AV actress nicknamed the “Goddess of Smiles,” announced the good news that she was getting married to Tetsuya Shido,  an AV actress 17 years her senior.  ( superwin636 ) 

Kami Anna posted a photo of her marriage certificate and a sweet couple photo on the X platform with a heartfelt message that said,  “If I hadn’t met him that day, there would be no Kami Anna today.”

She said that when she was 20, she mustered up the courage to email to enter the AV industry and met Tetsuya Shido,  who would later become her husband. She recalled her past self and said,  “I want to tell myself back then, ‘I did a good job!’”

Despite their age gap and their relationship starting out differently than most couples, she insists, “We both still have to learn and grow together. I thank everyone for their encouragement and hope everyone will support us.”

A love path that began with the first job in the industry

Play NO.1 website reported that AV critic Ichiken Kanshunshu said  that when Kami Anna was new to the industry, she worked with Tetsuya Shido on her first filming,  which may have been the beginning of their relationship. However, after her official AV debut, she and him never worked together again.

Although the Japanese AV industry has a rule that prohibits male and female performers from loving each other, Ichiken Kanshunshu said,  “Can it really be prohibited?”
