Court orders ban, fines Villa fan for racially abusing Sterling neptuxe

Back in the game at Villa Park on October 16, 2022, when “Sing the Blues” won 2-0, the 54-year-old football fan shouted racist abuse at Sterling, who was arrested by the police and questioned. Immediately after the end of the game, he was charged with violating section 5 of public order, which is racist.

Recently, after a court appearance in Birmingham, he confessed to the allegations. He was banned from football for three years and fined £538.

“This kind of behavior must not be tolerated,” said West Midlands Police Officer Stuart Ward. “There is no place for racism in football or society in general.
