Italian journalist Matteo Moretto from Relevo has revealed that Mexican giants Tigres are close to signing Atletico Madrid striker Angel Correa for €6m.
The preliminary agreement is now in the final stages, while the next step will be formal negotiations, which will include submitting an offer to the Bears.
The 30-year-old forward has been with Atletico Madrid since 2014 from San Lorenzo in his native Argentina, making 462 appearances, scoring 87 goals, helping the team win La Liga and the Europa League.

Italian outlet Calciomercato is reporting that Napoli are close to agreeing a deal to sign Benfica midfielder Florentino this summer.
The 25-year-old Portugal midfielder has been offered a five-year contract worth €2.5m per season, with Napoli confident of agreeing a deal with the player soon, as have Benfica.
Meanwhile, Napoli have made an offer to buy Georgi Sudakov, a star player from Shakhtar Donetsk, a famous team in the Euroleague, for 35 million euros plus a bonus of 5 million euros.
Napoli have also shown interest in Lille striker Jonathan David, as well as Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
