“I started to be interested in amulets, so I started to study them. Then I got to know the term ‘amulet market’. They play with prices in the hundreds, thousands, and even hundreds of millions. And the term ‘authenticity or non-authenticity’ in this industry, they believe in experts. “The Stone, Real Amulets, Fake People” is a story about Ek (Jaonay Jinjett Wattanasin), a young man who needs money to treat his seriously ill father. He takes his father’s amulets to be appraised by a famous amulet expert, “Seng Paradise” (Jai Itchanakorn Phuengkiattrasami). Ek meets “Sian Mui” (Ah-eye Karnis Laosubinprasert), a super hot amulet expert who suggests that he enter an amulet in a contest. However, the amulet in Ek’s hand is a legendary real “Somdej” amulet that has been missing from the industry for over 30 years. It could be worth hundreds of millions and is being watched by all amulet enthusiasts, including “Father Sunthon” (Noppol Komachun), an influential amulet expert, along with a mysterious person, “Victor” (Hugo Chulajak Chakrabongse), who turns Ek’s life around, someone who has never been interested in amulets, into a dangerous gamble with experts who are ready to use all sorts of tricks and deceptions to steal the “real amulets”.

In Pae Arak’s opinion, the story in this amulet movie is more prominent than the stories about the amulet industry that we have never seen in a movie before. “The story of The Stone, Real Amulets, Fake People is about searching for a legendary amulet that has been missing for 30 years. Suddenly, it falls into the hands of a young man who knows nothing about amulets. That person’s name is Ek. The main character will lead us into the amulet industry, encountering tricks, deception, and various hidden secrets. But that is what is covered. Underneath these stories, The Stone, Real Amulets, Fake People also tells the story of relationships and family.”

Another highlight of the film should be the excitement of the storytelling, which we have already seen in the trailer.
