The report says Reynolds is working on several treatments or drafts of the script that would feature three or four X-Men characters as the main characters, with Deadpool acting as a supporting character.

With Deadpool becoming a secondary character, it will allow the X-Men characters to be used in unexpected ways. The project will be separate from Marvel’s planned ” X-Men ” movies, which will be penned by “Hunger Games” star Michael Leslie.
